I uploaded an app and it won't start

A few things to check when a Python or Node.js app won't run:

1. The type is right: Baumeister runs Flask and FastAPI apps and Node.js apps. Node.js must be installed on your computer.
2. Read the app's logs in Baumeister. The first error near the bottom usually names the problem, such as a missing package or a typo.
3. Restart the app after fixing something.
4. If you changed the code with an AI or a coding agent, Versions lets you restore the last working one.
