Does my computer have to stay on for my site to work?

Not for people to see your site. Turn on Safety Net (free) on the project page and visitors still see it while your computer is off, asleep or restarting.

You choose what they see:
- The latest version of your site. Baumeister updates its copy within a few minutes of each change.
- Your front page served by Baumeister all the time.
- A Back Soon page you write.

Plain websites can stay up entirely. Forms, sign-ins and checkouts need your computer, so they work again as soon as it's back on.
